In the technique, radio frequency (RF) plasma in dry oxygen and argon mixture produces large quantity of ozone, which oxidizes carbon contaminates into CO and CO2. The experimental results show that the plasma cleaning technique is capable of completely removing carbon contamination and maintaining ultra high vacuum of the beam line. | Source Title: | Zhenkong Kexue yu Jishu Xuebao/Journal of Vacuum Science and Technology | URI: | http://scholarbank.nus.edu.sg/handle/10635/113034 | ISSN: | 16727126 | DOI: | 10.3969/j.issn.1672-7126.2009.06.23 |
