Abstract: A new kind of symmetrical balanced center-fed structures that enhances the radiation performances of the suspended plate antennas (SPAs) is presented. In addition, the use of the L-shaped probes which allows the broad impedance bandwidth is given. By combining these two techniques, a new design of suspended plate antennas with the broad impedance bandwidths and enhanced radiation performances is produced.
