The differential evolution algorithm is employed both to shape the beam requirements and to suppress the sideband patterns. Numerical results show that the time-modulated linear array can be successfully used to synthesize power patterns and the excitation dynamic-range ratio can be reduced significantly as compared to those of the conventional arrays. | Source Title: | IEEE Antennas and Wireless Propagation Letters | URI: | http://scholarbank.nus.edu.sg/handle/10635/111316 | ISSN: | 15361225 | DOI: | 10.1109/LAWP.2003.821556 |
