Abstract: To study the differentially expressed genes and molecular pathwasy which relates to immune function of cold constitution, 7 cold constitution members are identified and studied together with 6 healthy peoples in the same pedigree with 19 members using cDNA microarray technique. 87 differentially expressed genes weree obtained and 10 immune genes were identified among all the differential expressed genes, 20% of which apeear in one immune pathways - T cell receptor signaling pathway. These results suggest that hypoimmunity has important relevance to the cold constitution, some down-regulating immunogenes such as CD4, CD8A and C5 and some immunity molecule pathways, for example, T cell receptor signaling pathway, may be the bio-molecular background of the cold constitution. We expect the research would facilitate basic research of cold constitution. © 2007 IEEE.
