Abstract: Infertility is a problem faced by millions worldwide. In a recent paper published in Cell, Hayashi et al. (2011) provided a potential solution for male infertility through the generation of functional spermatozoa that can give rise to healthy offspring from embryonic stem cells and induced pluripotent stem cells. © The Author 2011.
