Abstract:	The present study describes a new species of Sinopotamon Bott, 1967, from Zixi county, Jiangxi Province, China. The new species can be distinguished from the allied S. siguqiaoense Dai, Zhou & Peng, 1995, and S. linhuaense Dai, Zhou & Peng, 1995, primarily by the structure of the male first gonopod. © 2008 Brill Academic Publishers.
