ScholarBank@NUS Repository.https://scholarbank.nus.edu.sg/handle/10635/224115Since the 1990’s, there has been a shift in Singapore’s educational model from an industrial-based system towards a creative-based learning approach. The shift in the education curriculum is in response to the changing economic trends, which place an emphasis on the creative industry. The shift in Singapore education curriculum has led to the investigation of new educational spatial typologies. In today’s context, it still does not cater for creative learning and remains as a “compartmentalized model” where students are bound within the classroom perimeter.
