Proceedings - IEEE Computer Society's International Computer Software & Applications Conference : 384-388. ScholarBank@NUS Repository.||Abstract:||Functional components are program components which provide a set of tightly-coupled program's functionalities each. As functionalities embody domain knowledge, these components provide a basis for the recovery of reusable program components. In this paper, we augment general program slicing to handle the interaction among input/output statements operating on database. With the use of augmented program slicing, an approach, called functional slicing, is proposed for computing the functional components of a program.||Source Title:||Proceedings - IEEE Computer Society's International Computer Software & Applications Conference||URI:||http://scholarbank.nus.edu.sg/handle/10635/99593||ISSN:||07306512|
