Issue Date: | Mar-1994 | Citation: | Loh, W.-L.,Poo, G.-S. (1994-03). Object-oriented modelling and specification of the X.400 mail system. Computer Communications 17 (3) : 148-155. ScholarBank@NUS Repository. | Abstract: | This paper presents a specification and object-oriented modelling technique for a distributed application. Precise specification ensures proper interaction behaviour between information components. The complexity of a distributed application is resolved by modelling the application entity as a collection of objects. The objects act and interact with each other in accordance with the interface specification. The technique is applied to the X.400 Message Handling System and a prototype of object-oriented implementation of the MHS is produced. © 1994. | Source Title: | Computer Communications | URI: | http://scholarbank.nus.edu.sg/handle/10635/99350 | ISSN: | 01403664 |
