After annealing there was a blueshift of PL which increased with increasing sample annealing. The mechanism of PL and its blueshift was found to be due to the S vacancies and the formation of ZnS(O2 -) in the surface layers of the nanoparticles adjacent to the SiO2.||Source Title:||Journal of Applied Physics||URI:||http://scholarbank.nus.edu.sg/handle/10635/97843||ISSN:||00218979||DOI:||10.1063/1.1516840|
