ScholarBank@NUS Repository.||Abstract:||The textures of ferroelectric liquid crystal D-4-(2-methylbutoxy) phenyl 4-dodecyloxybenzoate (MBOPDoOB) were observed using polarizing microscope during cooling. At different cooling rates, two kinds of textures of solid phases were observed.
