ScholarBank@NUS Repository. https://doi.org/10.1016/S1359-6462(00)00604-7||Abstract:||A eutectic-like lamellar structure consisting of two phases is observed in as-spun ribbons of a Zn-rich Zn-6.3at.%Ag hyper-peritectic alloy. Coupled growth is proposed to take place under rapid solidification conditions with a growth velocity above that for absolute stability.
