L-shell X-rays for Eu, Gd and W were measured in the proton energy range from 1.6 to 5.2 MeV. From these measurements, individual X-ray production cross sections, together with the cross section ratios Lα/L3 and Lα/Lγ were calculated. L1, L2 and L3 subshell ionization cross sections were extracted from the X-ray production cross sections for Lγ2,3, Lγ1,5 and Lα1,2 X-ray lines. The results are compared with the experimental data published by other authors and with the theoretical predictions of the ECPSSR theory.
