|Title:||Accurate measurement of the transmission coefficient of constricted pipes||Authors:||Tang, S.H.
|Issue Date:||1987||Citation:||Tang, S.H.,Tan, H.S. (1987). Accurate measurement of the transmission coefficient of constricted pipes. Applied Acoustics 20 (3) : 163-168. ScholarBank@NUS Repository.||Abstract:||A method for the accurate measurement of the transmission coefficient of acoustic filters is described. The measurement is an adaptation of the standing wave apparatus and results have been obtained for the transmission pipe with a constricted section. The greater accuracy of the results shows good agreement with the one-dimensional filter theory with a revised interpretation of the constriction length. © 1987.||Source Title:||Applied Acoustics||URI:||http://scholarbank.nus.edu.sg/handle/10635/95721||ISSN:||0003682X|
