ScholarBank@NUS Repository.||Abstract:||The effect of iodination on the glass-transition behaviour and thermal stability of polystyrene was studied by differential scanning calorimetry and thermogravimetry. The glass-transition temperature Tg of polystyrene increases linearly with increasing degree of iodination, but the heat capacity change at Tg decreases with the degree of iodination.
