ScholarBank@NUS Repository.||Abstract:||From the present investigation, it has been seen that: 1) Repeated weld repair up to three times has only increased the size of the heat affected zone slightly but has not altered the location, microstructure and grain size of the various zones observed in the original weld. 2) For the present electrode and base material combination, σ5% was found to be largest at the weld deposit zone and least at the base material. 3) No significant change in σ5% values could be discerned as the number of repairs was increased, showing that repeated repair does not affect the fracture resistance of the repaired weld.||Source Title:||Welding Journal (Miami, Fla)||URI:||http://scholarbank.nus.edu.sg/handle/10635/92690||ISSN:||00432296|
