Abstract: The surface topography of the ferroelectric domain structure in flux grown BaTiO3 single crystal has been studied by atomic force microscopy (AFM) and optical polarizing microscopy at room temperature. Intersection of 90° wedges and formation of microdomains have been observed. Zig-zag boundaries have also been visualized for the first time by AFM.
