Abstract: A method is proposed to enhance the conductivity of the PEDOT:PSS film by adding anionic surfactants into the PEDOT:PSS aqueous solution. The study found that the addition of TsO anions into the PEDOT:PSS aqueous solution can enhance the conductivity of PEDOT:PSS. Spin-coating method for polymer solution on the glass substrates was used to fabricate conducting polymer films. The study used Van der Pauw four-point probe method with Keithley 2400 source/meter to determine the conductivities of the polymer films. The study observed that the electrical contacts were made by pressing indium or putting silver paste on the corners of the polymer film on glass substrate. The study also proved that high-quality polymer films can be obtained by spin-coating the PEDOT:PSS aqueous solution with sodium p-tolunesulfonate.
