The idea of 3D rolling window is introduced, and its probabilisitc characteristics are studied. A cascaded road detection process is developed with region-growing and classification methods. A probabilistic framework is utlized for road mapping purposes with the detection results. The performance of detection and mapping algorithm is evaluated through experiments. © 2013 IEEE. | Source Title: | IEEE Intelligent Vehicles Symposium, Proceedings | URI: | http://scholarbank.nus.edu.sg/handle/10635/86072 | ISBN: | 9781467327558 | DOI: | 10.1109/IVS.2013.6629636 |
