dc.description.abstractThe overall performance of spin-valves (SV) using CoFe/Co/CoFe as free ferromagnetic (FM) layers. The sheet resistance (δRs) was enhanced slightly when a small portion of discontinuous Cu was inserted into the free FM layer. It was found that it decreases with further increasing the thickness of Cu layer due to the current shunting effect in the Cu layer.
