Title: | Magnetic properties of half-metallic Fe3O4 films | Authors: | Jain, S. Adeyeye, A.O. Dai, D.Y. |
Issue Date: | 1-Jun-2004 | Citation: | Jain, S., Adeyeye, A.O., Dai, D.Y. (2004-06-01). Magnetic properties of half-metallic Fe3O4 films. Journal of Applied Physics 95 (11 II) : 7237-7239. ScholarBank@NUS Repository. https://doi.org/10.1063/1.1651800 | Abstract: | The electron beam deposition technique was used to analyze the magnetic properties of Fe3O4 films grown directly on a Si(001) substrate and on a copper buffer layer. The effect of the Cu buffer layer thickness on the magnetic properties and microstructure of Fe3O 4 was described. A marked increase in the coercivity was observed for films deposited directly on a Si(001) substrate. Two distinct switching fields due to the presence of two magnetic phases which are weakly coupled at the substrate interface were observed for Fe3O4 films deposited directly on Si(001). | Source Title: | Journal of Applied Physics | URI: | http://scholarbank.nus.edu.sg/handle/10635/83921 | ISSN: | 00218979 | DOI: | 10.1063/1.1651800 |
