ScholarBank@NUS Repository. https://doi.org/10.1063/1.1555792 | Abstract: | The coercivity enhancement by Ru pinning layer in FePt thin films was discussed. The FEPt thin films were prepared by dc magnetron sputtering Fe50Pt50 layer onto Cr91Ru9 underlayer at 400°C. From angular dependence of the coercivity measurement, the magnetization reversal mechanism was shown to shift from the domain-wall motion behavior to the nucleation mode by increasing the thickness of the pinning layer. | Source Title: | Journal of Applied Physics | URI: | http://scholarbank.nus.edu.sg/handle/10635/83553 | ISSN: | 00218979 | DOI: | 10.1063/1.1555792 |
