dc.description.abstractA new adaptive control approach is proposed to deal nonlinear systems with time-varying parametric uncertainties. Instead of using the classical integrator, the new control approach incorporates pointwise integration in the parametric updating mechanism. Based on the prior knowledge on the periodicity of time-varying parameters, the new control achieves asymptotic tracking convergence in ℒT 2 norm.
