ScholarBank@NUS Repository.||Abstract:||The present article describes the development of a reliable electromagnetic model (based on the least-squares boundary residual method that is known for its rigorous convergence) for predicting the scattering coefficients of a thick circular iris placed in a circular waveguide. Tests confirm that the numerical data predicted by the resultant software package (which is compact enough to be housed in a DEC workstation or its equivalent) are accurate to within ±0.5%. © 1997 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.||Source Title:||Microwave and Optical Technology Letters||URI:||http://scholarbank.nus.edu.sg/handle/10635/81093||ISSN:||08952477|
