ScholarBank@NUS Repository.||Abstract:||Using the FDTD method with Berenger's PML ABC, we have found a new Y-junction matching configuration that uses an open-circuit circular hole cut out of the conducting metal of the structure as a matching element. Tlie structure can achieve better than -30 dB of S11 for any desired practical center frequency of operation. We have also found a simple procedure for designing such structures. © 1997 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.||Source Title:||Microwave and Optical Technology Letters||URI:||http://scholarbank.nus.edu.sg/handle/10635/80815||ISSN:||08952477|
