Issue Date: | 5-Jun-1997 | Citation: | Lau, Y.C.,Leong, M.S.,Kooi, P.S. (1997-06-05). New Y-junction configuration with a hole as an open-circuit matching element. Microwave and Optical Technology Letters 15 (2) : 72-74. ScholarBank@NUS Repository. | Abstract: | Using the FDTD method with Berenger's PML ABC, we have found a new Y-junction matching configuration that uses an open-circuit circular hole cut out of the conducting metal of the structure as a matching element. Tlie structure can achieve better than -30 dB of S11 for any desired practical center frequency of operation. We have also found a simple procedure for designing such structures. © 1997 John Wiley & Sons, Inc. | Source Title: | Microwave and Optical Technology Letters | URI: | http://scholarbank.nus.edu.sg/handle/10635/80815 | ISSN: | 08952477 |
