|Issue Date:||Nov-1998||Citation:||Chen, Yangquan,Wen, Changyun,Sun, Mingxuan (1998-11). Identifying aerial bomb's aerodynamic drag coefficient curve using optimal dynamic fitting method. Journal of Aircraft 35 (6) : 971-975. ScholarBank@NUS Repository.||Abstract:||The aerodynamic curve identification of aerial bomb from three-degree-of-freedom positional measurements is formulated as an optimal tracking control problem (OTCP). By using a spline parameterization of the drag coefficient curve that is taken as the control profile, the OTCP is converted into a parametric minimization problem where the proposed quasi-Newton-Raphson iteration is used to cut the computational cost. The inaccurate initial states can be corrected easily.||Source Title:||Journal of Aircraft||URI:||http://scholarbank.nus.edu.sg/handle/10635/80556||ISSN:||00218669|
