dc.description.abstractThis thesis understands the heritage of Candi Borobudur in the spacetime of purbakala. Particular timescapes are revealed to elaborate the notion that the being of a monument transforms substantially in the process of heritage. Findings go against the current tendency to impose images of the past in both authorised heritage discourse and popular believes.
