ScholarBank@NUS Repository.||Abstract:||An efficient synthesis of polyhydroquinoline derivatives were reported via four-component coupling reactions of aldehydes, dimedone, ethyl acetoacetate and ammonium acetate in the presence of a catalytic amount of ionic liquid under solvent free conditions.
