dc.description.abstractA fast-response digital current controller suitable for the inner current-control loop of a dual-converter-driven dc-motor spread-control system is presented. It compensates for the nonlinear change in the current-loop gain when the current becomes discontinuous. Experimental studies were carried out on the gain-compensated inner loop, and fast dynamic response in the discontinuous current conduction mode was achieved.
