An optical strain gauge, in which any gauge length could be chosen was proposed. The method is based on the modified in-plane sensitive arrangement. It was shown that the arrangement could be used to measure the velocity of the object.||Source Title:||Proceedings of SPIE - The International Society for Optical Engineering||URI:||http://scholarbank.nus.edu.sg/handle/10635/74956||ISSN:||0277786X||DOI:||10.1117/12.323334|
