We compared it with two spherical cortical mapping algorithms in software packages of FreeSurfer and CARET based on local cortical features (e.g. gyral/sulcal curves and sulcal regions). Our results supported that the MM-LDDMM algorithm provided better cortical alignment in terms of these local features when compared with the spherical algorithms evaluated in this study. © 2011 IEEE.||Source Title:||2011 IEEE/ICME International Conference on Complex Medical Engineering, CME 2011||URI:||http://scholarbank.nus.edu.sg/handle/10635/74850||ISBN:||9781424493241||DOI:||10.1109/ICCME.2011.5876807|
