ScholarBank@NUS Repository.||Abstract:||A technique has been developed to simulate the inward tunnel lining deformation in centrifuge model tests. The short-term and long-term lateral and axial pile responses due to tunnelling in clay are compared with those obtained from the earlier tests on ovalisation of tunnel lining.
