dc.description.abstractThe equivalent-admittance approach is used to simplify the matching of the symmetrical six-port waveguide junction. The equivalent-admittance data generated by the model show that inductive diaphragms are required. Tests on the resulting prototype have confirmed the measured VSWR to be less than 1.2 over the entire WR90 bandwidth. ©2009 IEEE.
