ScholarBank@NUS Repository.||Abstract:||A shortened Reed-Solomon (RS) code may be folded into a two-dimensional array arid used in a burst error channel model to reduce the probability of erroneous reception. Properties of these codes are presented and a decoding algorithm based on list, decoding is proposed.
