dc.description.abstractA mechatronic experiment on remote vibration signature analysis via the Internet was discussed. The hardware and software requirements for the implementation of the remote experiment were presented. It provided experience for users in the application of a mechatronic device and digital signal processing techniques to vibration monitoring and fault diagnosis of machines. The approach can be applied to existing machines without modification, or disrupting the operation.
