ScholarBank@NUS Repository. https://doi.org/10.1109/ICC.2008.117 | Abstract: | The joint channel estimation and data detection problem for Multi-Input Multi-Output Single Carrier Cyclic-Prefix (MIMO-SCCP) systems is considered in this paper. The detection process is completed by Block-Iterative generalized decision feedback equalizer (BI-GDFE) method. The BI-GDFE method provides the soft information of the transmitted signals to the Expectation-Maximization (EM)-based channel estimation. The Cramér-Rao Lower Bound (CRLB) is also derived to evaluate the quality of estimated parameters.
