ScholarBank@NUS Repository. https://doi.org/10.1109/APCAP.2012.6333270 | Abstract: | A vertical coil array is designed to increase the signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) for magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). The SNR increase is realized by properly combining the output of each coil element of the array, and in this way the coupling within the array is totally removed. The method of determining the combiner coefficients is introduced in a simulated MRI system and the SNR is shown to increase with the number of coils in the array. © 2012 IEEE. | Source Title: | 2012 IEEE Asia-Pacific Conference on Antennas and Propagation, APCAP 2012 - Proceedings | URI: | http://scholarbank.nus.edu.sg/handle/10635/70580 | ISBN: | 9781467306676 | DOI: | 10.1109/APCAP.2012.6333270 |
