ScholarBank@NUS Repository. https://doi.org/10.1109/VETECF.2009.5378770||Abstract:||A rate adaptation scheme requires channel state information (CSI), which can be acquired at the receiver by inserting pilot symbols in the transmit signals. We have developed a rate adaptation scheme that takes account of both channel estimation and prediction errors. The transmitter adapts transmission rate relative to the predicted channel state and a utilization factor.
