dc.description.abstract | Effect of Pt buffer layer on structure and magnetic properties of epitaxial FePt thin films was discussed. FePT thin films were prepared by DC magnetron sputtering with Ar pressure of 10 mTorr. X-ray diffraction spectra of FePt thin films with various thickness of Pt buffer layer was recorded. The film with 4 nm Pt buffer layer shows high perpendicular coercivity, high nucleation field and large Mr/Ms ratio. | |
