dc.description.abstract | The bit isolation in periodic antidot arrays using transverse applied fields was discussed. It was found that the signal-to-noise (SNR) ratio degrade sharply when the anisotropy and the transverse fields approached the shape field values obtained using an analytical model. The analysis showed that the model used was corroborated by the coercivity trend of different antidot size, obtained by micromagnetics. | |
