Asia Pacific Conference on Postgraduate Research in Microelectronics and Electronics : 74-77. ScholarBank@NUS Repository. https://doi.org/10.1109/PrimeAsia.2011.6075074 | Abstract: | A new ECG signal processing approach is proposed for use in ultra low-power wireless ECG recording devices. Significant energy saving is achievable with the adoption of level-crossing sampling, which adapts its sampling frequency according to signal activities. Linear Interpolation is then performed to convert the non-uniform samples into uniform ones to allow the use of existing signal processing tools. We show by an example that the proposed approach achieves 88.8% and 92.6% reductions in the number of sampling points and the order of post-processing FIR filter respectively. © 2011 IEEE. | Source Title: | Asia Pacific Conference on Postgraduate Research in Microelectronics and Electronics | URI: | http://scholarbank.nus.edu.sg/handle/10635/68919 | ISBN: | 9781457716096 | ISSN: | 21592144 | DOI: | 10.1109/PrimeAsia.2011.6075074 |
