dc.description.abstract | A double folded capacitive fed and cavity backed microstrip antenna placed over a cavity backing was described. The folded microstrip element exhibited relatively narrow impedance bandwidth of about 3%. The antennas was found to have a patch based on the second configuration with a cavity backing, which was fed using capacitive feed to improve impedance bandwidth. The antenna radiation patterns were tested in an anechoic chamber. | |
