ScholarBank@NUS Repository.||Abstract:||A computationally efficient non-uniform digital FIR filter bank is proposed for hearing aid applications. The ten non-uniform sub-bands are formed with the help of frequency masking technique. Two half-band filters are employed as prototypes resulting in significant improvements in the computational efficiency.
