ScholarBank@NUS Repository. | Abstract: | A material structure is proposed to give pure in-plane (axis-1 and axis-2) shearing when loaded in the out-of-plane direction (axis-3). It is shown that it is possible to simultaneously attain v<0 and v>0 to give Poisson-shearing through the material structure.
