|Title:||MODEL FOR CALCULATING METAL DISTRIBUTION AND THROWING POWER OF PLATING BATHS.||Authors:||Tan, T.C.||Issue Date:||Jul-1987||Citation:||Tan, T.C. (1987-07). MODEL FOR CALCULATING METAL DISTRIBUTION AND THROWING POWER OF PLATING BATHS.. Plating and Surface Finishing 74 (7) : 67-71. ScholarBank@NUS Repository.||Abstract:||Calculations of throwing power based on a model that defines mass distribution on irregular cathode surfaces were verified by experiments with nine nickel plating baths. The model can be used to describe metal distribution on complex surface contours, estimate the closest distance a cathode may be placed from an anode to satisfy thickness requirements, and approximate the cell voltage to achieve a desired deposition rate.||Source Title:||Plating and Surface Finishing||URI:||http://scholarbank.nus.edu.sg/handle/10635/67486||ISSN:||03603164|
