dc.description.abstractThe feasibility of solving nonlinear programming problems via a complex algorithm on and IBM personal computer and an HP Vectra microcomputer is explored. The algorithm was coded in basic and fortran/77. The performance of the algorithm in terms of accuracy, numerical stability, and execution times is investigated. The results of this study suggest that nonlinear porgramming problems can be satisfactorily solved on IBM and HP Vectra microcomputers. © 1988.
