This paper presents a study of the effects of type of mixer and mineral admixture on the workability and compressive strength of high strength concrete. The tilting drum mixer was found to be able to perform like the pan mixer in producing high strength concrete with compressive strength higher than 100MPa. The relationship between cylindrical specimen and cube specimen of high strength concrete was also studied and was found to be the same as the reported studies on conventional concrete. © 1995.
