dc.description.abstractBy using the index and state-function of casualties the authors proposed, the initial seismic casualties' matrix was formed. After determining the initial casualties' matrix of brick masonry structure with the aid of several probability distribution functions, the dynamic assessment method of seismic casualties was established. Then the authors carried out the numerical simulation and assessment of Tangshan seismic casualties by using this method.
