Physical Review B - Condensed Matter and Materials Physics 73 (19) : -. ScholarBank@NUS Repository. https://doi.org/10.1103/PhysRevB.73.193409 | Abstract: | We propose that controlled self-organization of complicated nanoislands can be realized by using a patterned electric plate to generate an electric field on the Stranski-Krastanow film-substrate systems. The scheme can produce islands at the equilibrium or metastable states. The scheme has the potential to control the sizes, shapes, and sites of the self-assembled nanostructures. © 2006 The American Physical Society. | Source Title: | Physical Review B - Condensed Matter and Materials Physics | URI: | http://scholarbank.nus.edu.sg/handle/10635/64887 | ISSN: | 10980121 | DOI: | 10.1103/PhysRevB.73.193409 |
