ScholarBank@NUS Repository. https://doi.org/10.1103/PhysRevB.73.193409||Abstract:||We propose that controlled self-organization of complicated nanoislands can be realized by using a patterned electric plate to generate an electric field on the Stranski-Krastanow film-substrate systems. The scheme can produce islands at the equilibrium or metastable states.
